Insta

Feel like revisiting my Instagram account. It has been a long, long, time.

Obviously, if you follow me on Instagram, like a boss, you’ve already experienced these.

A few of my favorites:

That was fun! We’ll have to do that again sometime!

  1. Instagram and Twitter are by far my social media of choice. Instagram because it is photography, obviously. Even though I don’t travel much, I’m a big fan of the Photo Map feature. Twitter I enjoy because there is actual useful information on there.

Use Snapchat a little bit just because of co-workers.

Use Swarm to document and keep track of lists.

Tried Tumblr, but it didn’t do much for me. But probably because I don’t really know anybody on Tumblr.

I have a YouTube Channel, but I don’t use it very often. Although YouTube would be the website I’m on the most, after Twitter.

I get on Facebook when I want to hate all of mankind. The only reason I stay on Facebook currently is for my church’s page. Although I am going to make some moves and might be getting rid of Facebook at some point in the future. Unfortunately it is so integrated into the fabric of the internet it is difficult to completely quit. I just don’t see it having any redeeming qualities.

  2. I do love that Instagram is all photos, although I wish that it weren’t just phone (primarily) photos. Most are not of the same quality as yours. I do like Twitter, but weaned myself off when my account got hacked and I closed it – I’ve just never reopened it, for some reason.

I’ve never tried Snapchat or Swarm. Don’t know anyone on Tumblr, but have perused it some. I do go on YouTube a fair amount, but not as social networking really.

I don’t really enjoy Facebook, but it is the easiest way for us to keep in touch with our family. In particular, J’s family is stretched out across the country, and they all have Facebook – so, that’s where I post my stuff about the kids. I can’t take the politics, the pontificating and posturing, the misinformation. I tend to hide a bunch of junk.
