The Archives: Edition Thirteen

These pictures come from: backup/Old My Pictures/Family/2004 B&W

One of the things I take from these pictures is that I have progressed in my knowledge of lighting quite a bit.

Plus I owned a pretty terrible scanner.

RWPE Y2 #15 – FOOD

There were a couple of submissions for FOOD this week. Included in these submissions are several submissions from Sara that clearly violate the one and only one rule of the Random Weekly Photo Experiment. Since this is her first submission, I’m allowing it:

I’ve been down to visit the Random Theme Generator to get a theme for this week. It gave me what I consider to be a pretty good theme.

HANDS

A look back at last year’s HANDS submissions:

HANDS

I am hopeful that there will be plenty of submissions next week. After all, almost everybody has hands and everybody knows somebody that has hands. Plus hands do such interesting things!

More Random NYC – Liberty Island and Day 3

Here are some more random images from Day 3 and Liberty Island:

Sarah at Benny’s Burritos

We didn’t eat here, but this restaurant is famous for being in When Harry Met Sally.

The Staten Island Ferry

The girl who took this picture was overly impressed with my camera.

Next Wednesday will feature even more random New York City images.

This is sort of a weird collection of pictures. So I think I won’t really describe or explain them, but just let them stand on their own.

RWPE Y2 #14 – Dry

It appears that some of the excitement for RWPE may be drying up. On a related note, here are the submissions for DRY:

WEEK 15 - DRY - MIKE VEST

WEEK 15 - DRY - CATHIE RALEY

I stumbled down to the Random Theme Generator’s residence and demanded a new theme for this week. This is what it gave me:

FOOD

A look back at last year’s submissions for FOOD:

2010-FOOD

Considering she takes a picture of every meal she eats, I’ll be very disappointed if Teresa doesn’t submit a picture for next Monday.

Despite the downward spiral RWPE seems to careening down, I did get some positive news on Saturday night. For the first time in probably over a year, I get to welcome a new email subscriber to this blog to the fold. So welcome aboard Susana Funk!

Personal Photo Project of the Week #62 – Alpha

Self Evident Truth

Jesse and I knew that we weren’t spending a ton of time in New York and we were given a few suggestions by Sarah and Steph on places to visit. We both decided to choose one place we had to go see.

Jesse chose Central Park.

I chose the Statue of Liberty. In the 3.5 days that we were in New York City, I took approximately 800 photos. Close to half of those were on our Statue of Liberty adventure.

So here are more pictures from the Self Evident Truth Series:

Slice of Life Vol. 44

I don’t really know where some of these pictures were taken at, but I can tell you that the weird thing on the side of the old domicile at 415 Greene were some form of early solar panels. The Bennett Family has always been ahead of the curve.

There is also a picture of the 1st rabbit I ever owned in here. His name was Fluffy. He was the inspiration for a series of creative writing stories I wrote in the 4th Grade. These stories were the first time I fooled myself into thinking I was a writer.

There is also a picture of Cindy in there. She was the dog before Tiffany. Tiffany was the dog before Karma.
