General housekeeping note:
I am so incredibly behind on my photo editing that I’m going to take a week or so off from blogging in an attempt to get caught back up. After all like the guy with all the billboards in eastern Iowa says, “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”
I wonder if that guy has a book of such wisdom.
Either way, when I am caught up with editing pictures of the “paid” variety, I will try to serve the Master that is my website again. I will again post blogs and you will again take a few seconds to delete them.

If I were to ever have such a thing as a favorite cat, that cat would be one of the cats pictured here. His name is Lucky, but sometimes he goes by Duke. See if you can pick him out.
There are also a few pictures of Karma in this batch. She is the standard bearer for dogs. I’m sure Naima will get there, as soon as she is done teething. At least my furniture and carpet will be glad when she is done teething.

A look back at last year’s SIGNS submissions:
Not sure how I’m going to make this theme about Naima or Foster, but I will find a way.
Only 7 weeks left to make a submission to this failed experiment before it disappears forever.
I’ve wanted to do a photo series based on the Ten Commandments for quite sometime now. This was originally an idea for, “Hey, don’t be murderizing anybody.” However, I’ve decided to take this in a different direction. So this is not a true start of that project.
Here are a few other False Start pictures.
Special thanks to Sara for securing an ask from her dad, no questions asked. He even sharpened it for me, even though he knew it was just a photo prop.
A few weeks back I did some Senior Pictures for Logan. Here are 15 randomly selected pictures from that photo shoot.
There are about 200 more images for your perusal in the Logan Kahler Album in the Store:
Next week’s Wednesday will involve a family portrait photo shoot.

From now on out these pictures will be digital, for the most part. Therefore the quality of the pictures will be better, but maybe not the quality of the photography.
The pictures in this folder come from the old RMB Photography Picture of the Day email. These were from pictures I would do around Halloween. I had higher aspirations for this set of pictures. I thought I might actually make a still picture movie out of them like Project: Universe, but I quickly lost my motivation and it was never to be. Kind of like Jay and Games 2.

2010 submissions for EXPLORE:
8 weeks left to make your mark on this experiment.
Jay and I’s traditional pumpkin carving night got moved up one night, but despite the break with tradition Jay carved that awesome pumpkin to look like Naima. As you will see, my pumpkin carving skills are considerably less than Jay’s.
More Happy Halloween pictures:
I’m not sure what I will be publishing here next Friday. Although I’m finding my mode again, there is no telling what way I’ll go.
