Most of the pictures in today’s collection were taken in 1977 in Minnesota.
Next Thursday’s collection will include a picture that will make Micky wonder how it is that I grew up to be our departments socialist-commie-whatever.
The last few years I have been the photographer for Story County Philanthropy Day. This year is no different. Story County Philanthropy Day is tomorrow, thought it would be a good time to share the images of the award recipients that will appear in the program this year.
Next week’s Wednesday randomness could go in several different directions, but I think it will go in the direction of Lake LaVerne.
It has been awhile since I’ve been contracted for what I would consider to be commercial photography, but recently I was contracted by Jim Jordan to photograph a septic tank and a couple of items he wished sell.
Unfortunately for Boone, Iowa State University, Boone County, First United Methodist Church, and the Methodist Men,(just to name a few) Jim is moving away. He will leave a cavernous hole in the community. So I begrudgingly took the pictures that will help him leave us behind to enrich a new town, church, and community.
Next week’s randomness might involve the Block Party or it might involve something else. I don’t like to be tied down to the expectations that I have set for other people.
I’ve fallen behind in posts. This sometimes happens when I get sick or I spend too much time working on other people’s projects or my motivation runs dry based on those two factors.
The next 7 themes:
Day 127: Table
Day 128: I Collect
Day 129: Music
Day 130: Yes!
Day 131: Someone I Miss
Day 132: Mine
Day 133: Book
The Bittersweet Series is a series of 3 things I photographed on Jim Jordan’s land while I was also working on what I was contracted to photograph. The first series involves his awesome hibiscus.
The remainder of the Bittersweet Volume 1 Series:
“Next” week’s Personal Photo Project will once again involve Nashville. The one in Tennessee.
