Given the subject, the graininess and washed-out look really, really works here. I like it.
One of those pictures where I thought about going more into detail about the post-production, but then I didn’t.
I’m pretty familiar with Lightroom, but Photoshop still sorta scares me. I can only talk Lightroom terms, but to achieve similar to this, I probably would have blown up the highlights, and moved up the noise and the grain?
I’ll leave it at this not quite.
The highlight is actually decreased by 50%.
Also, no noise and grain has been added.
