A Photo Journal – Henry Carroll – Page 92

On the day of the Iowa State-Iowa football game, I was able to take a picture for Page 92 of the Photo Journal:

Page 92 – Walk down a busy street taking pictures without stopping.

I completed this page by walking with Derrick from our parking lot to the gate where we enter the stadium. Below are some photos that I took on this photo sojourn that I like, but won’t be adhered into the physical photo journal. There can be only one.

You will get the sense (I’m sure) why Hawkeye fans are universally considered so low class.

Next time we check in with THE PHOTO JOURNAL PROJECT, we’ll probably look at one of the pictures for Page 58.

  1. Wow, that guy is classy. My only hope is that he got that shirt special-made, and that it’s not being mass-produced.

Lots of great photos in the rejects. I really enjoy the close-ups of the brass section.

  2. I have no doubt that shirt is being mass-produced. Probably being sold in the parking lots of Kinnick. Oh wait, that cesspool doesn’t have any parking. Sold along the 7 mile hike one has to make to Kinnick.

I was leaning towards using the skull wearing the Iowa State helmet but decided I should use a picture that showed the busy street.

  3. I like the skull a great deal, too. The very last image (the flags) is also a favorite. It was just a great batch, and even more impressive that you were on the move.

  4. Shannon,

    They are also boring (autofocus).

I’m trying to get autofocus to replaces AF. No chance it will work though.

    Angie,

The last one is also one of my favorites.
