Personal Photo Project No. 192

Soul Expansion – 2013

This week’s Personal Photo Project was to photograph my favorite flower (one of them), the moonflower.

Did you know that the moonflower can be used as a hallucinogenic? That doesn’t explain why I was late delivering today’s blog, but it might explain why Naima acts the way she does some of the time.

The remainder of the Soul Expansion – 2013 Series:

For the record I haven’t fact-checked the hallucinogenic fact that I just threw at you. My old vet told me it was so, and I believe him.

Next week’s Personal Photo Project will involve Nashville.

Kentucky Vacation Thrice

Sorry this is a few hours late. I’ve had some car issues that have caused be to wobble slightly.

I know how many people are anxiously awaiting to see another collection of my photos from my Kentucky vacation. People stop me on the streets all the time wanting more information about the trip. The good news for them is that there are more pictures coming their way, right about now…

Next week’s Wednesday will include even more Kentuckiness. Including a look at the Dukes of Hazzard Museum!

The Archives: Edition #143

Today’s images come from the following folder:

Backup/My Pictures/unlv

I have no clue why I named this folder unlv. It has nothing to do with unlv. There is a picture of the UNI place kicker lamenting a missed field goal that may have beaten the Cyclones though.

This pictures were taken on many different days, but all in 2006.

Next week’s folder will be:

Backup/My Scans/2006-02 (Feb)

365 Day Photo Challenge: 99-105

I think this might be one of the best weekly collections to date. But I should stop patting myself on the back and get back to work (on this week).

Garden of the Gods

The first order of business is to welcome Micky Augustin aboard as the latest person to show class, taste, and sophistication by signing up for a email subscription to the online journal of Photography 139.

Everybody say: “Hi Micky!”

These images were taken in a national forest in Illinois in an area known as the Garden of the Gods.
