Once again this year I did photography for the Boone Little League’s Challenger program. Once again it was very rewarding.
Here are a few of the action shots from my two photo shoots:
Lowell and Jesse administer the Challenger Program, which is the best part of the Boone Little League system.
Next week’s random Wednesday will involve a wedding I photographed.
Several weeks ago I went up to Minnesota with Tim, Barb, Marcia, and Donnie to visit Nate, Bethany, Becca, and DaeHee. The focus of the trip was an interleague baseball matchup between the Chicago Cubs and Minnesota Twins.
The Cubs won 8-2.
Here are some pictures from the trip:

Next week’s random Wednesday will be pictures of the Boone Little League’s Challenger program.
Relay for Life for Boone County was last Friday night. The picture below, although not many, would have been considered a miracle in January. They are still considered a miracle now.
Willy ran 40 miles and was able to raise some money for the cause that way. He decided to do this at the last second. Perhaps we will have to organize him for next year?!?!?
My man Willy McAlpine (I think he should run under the name Willis McAlpine, but that is just me) recently entered and dominated a 5K in Nevada.
He won the event by almost 2 full minutes. A domination that I hope does not deter future runners from competing against him.
Here are a few pictures of the Champion and his medal:
I have yet to witness Willy run in person this year, but I believe that I will get the opportunity again in the near future.
