Here are a few pictures from Logan’s graduation.
Looks like only one niece/nephew to go!
This week’s project was to take a few photos at the Iowa Arboretum as I was scouting it for a wedding that I was going to be photographing in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I ended up having very little time out there to photograph as by the time I was able to get there I had to turn around and get to the Little League Park to photograph the Challenger Program.
Here are the few other pictures from the Tree Library Series:
Don’t be surprised if you see a Tree Library Redux in the near future. It seems I’ve been ignoring the numerous photographic possibilities at this awesome park/garden that is minutes away from my front door.
My man Willy McAlpine (I think he should run under the name Willis McAlpine, but that is just me) recently entered and dominated a 5K in Nevada.
He won the event by almost 2 full minutes. A domination that I hope does not deter future runners from competing against him.
Here are a few pictures of the Champion and his medal:
I have yet to witness Willy run in person this year, but I believe that I will get the opportunity again in the near future.
I was able to take a few pictures last week. I hope to have this project 100% back on task this week.
For the record, nearly 6 months into this project and Sara is the first person to ever request to be in one of the pictures. That is probably a profound statement on how my life is going. Crushing it!
Too bad the picture came out slightly out of focus. Well, what can you do?
I spotted this dilapidated old building on the way to the Rusty Duck. I knew on the way home that I would have to stop and photograph it. This is both the joy and danger of riding in a car with me.
The rest of the Remnants Series:
If you are wondering where you can find this ruin, it is at the intersection of highways 141 and 169.
