The 6th day of my Computer Mine Conference trip was just the trip home.
After Day 5, this is what was left in my per diem account:

Our flight was too early in the morning for me to even hit the RP Club for breakfast. No breakfast.

I looked around the Denver airport for food but couldn’t find anything worth eating. So I didn’t eat until I got back to Des Moines. It was for the best as my traditional post airport meal at Ted’s Coney Island hit the spot even harder due to my hunger.
I didn’t actually go straight home I met Teresa and went to Hilton for the final Women’s basketball game of the season. The final home game of the great Emily Ryan’s career. They were playing highly ranked Kansas State, and I thought it was going to be a great game, but the Cyclones just wiped the court with the Wildcats.
The tenderloin basket with a large Pepsi and some baklava ran me $20.97. So that makes the final balance of my per diem fund:
$237.01
Next Sunday we will go back to normal food adventures. It will involve a steakhouse in Altoona.
