Time for another collection of pictures from my trip to the National Balloon Classic with Jesse. This is the second to last collection of images.
I’d like to make it there again this year. In fact, I’d like to ride in a hot air balloon this year. But I have a lot of other expenses and with the price of everything going through the roof lately, we will see if it is an extravagance I can afford.
Still one last collection of images from this great night left to share. This one will include drones!

Two things –
1. So, I’m still entirely in on accompanying you to the Classic, if you don’t mind. If they will reduce price by someone else also riding in the balloon, I’d entirely split it with you. It’s on my bucket list. I wanted to ride this big one where a bunch of people get in while I was in Paris, but my friend with whom I went is acrophobic, and I didn’t want to abandon her, so it’s still on my list.

I’m kind of exagerating any economic hardship for effect right now, but I’m sure some is coming.
There is no break for multiple people, but if you are interested it is $250 if you pay cash.

And the picture you pointed out, is another one I have considered for the State Fair.
I read today that the tariff effect will start hitting us around May 10, so since that’s three days from now, it should be awful by late July!
That July 27th date looks pretty incredible?? I like it because it’s not the day after Hinterland, although the PM one on 8/2 would be fine (just not the AM one!).
It’s an angle you don’t usually see of a hot air balloon. I don’t know if that makes sense? It’s a really cool perspective!!
That August 2 one is pretty close to being sold out. Why you hating on the 6 AM flights so bad? I’ll look closer at my calendar and get back with you, but off the top of my head I can’t think of a reason why July 27 wouldn’t work.
So tomorrow, it is going to start to suck even worse. Looking forward to it.
I *can* do 6am (especially if I camp in Shannon’s yard the night before), but woof that’s early! But I’m in if you would prefer then!
Definitely keep me updated on 7/27! We don’t have anything going on that day – we’re going to Chicago earlier that week for a mini-vacation w/the kids, but will be back by Wednesday. In theory I could maybe make the evening of the 25th, but that’s so close to the end of the work day. Since I will be out a bunch that week, it might be hard to get out early.
