Time once again to share even more photos I took at the Clear Lake Color the Wind Kite Festival earlier this year.

As the weather gets colder, I’m starting to get excited to go to the kite festival again next year, even though it is several months away. Which is depressing to think we are just at the beginning of the cold! I’m also going to try to go up to the Okoboji Winter Games with Carla and Jason this year.

I recommend getting a pair of ice cleats to put on the bottom of your shoes if you don’t have any, if you plan on going on the lake. They aren’t necessary, but they do make a pretty big difference. Mine make a ton of noise, but it is much safer. Most people don’t, but they should.
I’m going to try to go to the Okoboji Winter Games with my sister this year, but the last couple of years the weather has been too warm and it has been kind of a bust. But hoping for better things this time.
