Now that I’ve revealed all of the 2026 Photography Calendar I’m going to put together a super long post. I’m not joking, this is a SUPER long post. You might want to stretch out your scrolling finger before diving in to this one. Normally I might make this into 2 different posts, but I’m ready to be done with year end review type stuff. I mean 2025 sucked. Is 2026 going to be any better? That remains to be seen. But it has started out pretty awful!

Okay, I’m going to give you 10 seconds to stretch your scrolling finger. 10… 9… 8… 7… 6… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…

I’m going to start by sharing the pictures that I considered for the calendar, but then ultimately went in a different direction. Many of them are very similar to ones that are in the calendar, so you will get why they aren’t in the calendar. Some were actually briefly in the calendar and then got replaced by something else.

I don’t think I need to get into detail while these didn’t make the cut. But just because they didn’t make the cut for the 2026 Photography 139 Calendar, that doesn’t mean it is all over for them. You never know. One of them might make it in the 2027 Photography 139 Calendar. It has happened before.

So let’s move on. It is time to reveal the favorite calendar images of the people that received the calendar. I ordered 50 calendars this year. The new printer (which I still haven’t discussed) sent me 52. But there are more than 52 images you are about to lay your eyes upon. That is because some calendars end up in households with more than one occupant. And those occupants might have a different favorite image. However, not everyone that received a calendar shared with me their favorite calendar image. Those people hated every single image in the calendar so much that they couldn’t bring themselves to be photographed with an image. Just burning hatred. So those people get moved to the Naughty List. A bad place to be.

Then there was another special group of people. They hate my photography, but they like the photography of some random dude that works at the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. Those people selected a throw away picture that was only put in the calendar because the new printer wouldn’t let me take the last page of the calendar so I had to throw something there.

I have reached out to the Giant’s Causeway to see if the guy that stands near the ocean and prevents people from going out on the slippery rocks makes a calendar so that I can gift it to Jason and Billy and Micky next year. I will let you know what I find out.

But that is it. That is a wrap on the 2026 Calendar. I should start planning for the 2027 Calendar, but I probably won’t.
