A Coat Borrowed from James Dean

Back in early May I went down to Jester Park because I had heard reports that some baby bison were wandering around down there. It turned out that they were there, but they never really got near enough to the fence for me to get a decent picture of them. However, I did get plenty of pictures of the elk to make up for it.

Jester Park is definitely one of my favorite parks in central Iowa. The whole area around the buffalo and elk is awesome to visit. If you haven’t been, I’d recommend it strongly.
