Burgertime: Art in the Park Field Work

One of the things about running the Pufferbilly Days Photo Contest is that I sit next to the Photo Contest Display at Art in the Park all day. This year, Logan and Jonah hung out with me most of the day and we hit up one of the food trucks for lunch and sorta shared a meal.

We hit up a food truck called Sweet & Savory. I have actually eaten their tenderloin as it was the food truck at a Computer Mine Summer Party a few years back. The tenderloin wasn’t in the pantheon, but decent enough that I was willing to give them a shot. This time I went for their S+S Burger and their Korean tater tots.

Logan got some of their other fried foods as well.

Here are some pictures:

The burger, as the pictures probably indicate, was a whole lot of nothing. I would not get the burger again. However, the Korean Tater Tots were on point. I would go back for those tater tots over and over again. Now, don’t get me wrong. It was definitely no Hotsy Totsy. But it got the job done. And it needed to, since the burger was small and fairly bland and definitely did not hit the spot.

Next Sunday’s food adventure will be the 2024 rendition of Taco Tailgate!
