#GyrritoLife: Madrid Field Work

So this food adventure took place on a brief visit I took with Teresa to the Madrid Labor Day Festival. I wanted to get a Gyrrito because Teresa got one last year and loved it and Jay got one at the Valley Junction Farmer’s Market and also was a big fan.

Here are a few pictures:

Surprising development. Madrid Labor Day Festival has a barbecue contest. Scott? Logan? Nathanial?

Bought this to help me find the right zipper on by backpack. Wish I had bought more.

The Gyrrito cost $12.

The menu describes it thusly:

Gyro Meat (Lamb or Chicken), Romaine Lettuce. Tzatiziki Sauce & Greek Salas with Feta Cheese Rolled into a Large Soft Flour Tortilla.

I like it, but not anywhere near as much as Jay or Teresa. I could have used more sauce and my Gyrrito seemed heavy on the tortilla. Something just felt slightly off about it.

I would get it again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it.

Next Sunday’s food adventure will involve RVTV.
