After we left Creston, we stopped in Adair for lunch. On the way to Adair we by the Adair County Freedom Rock. The original Freedom Rock. The one that gets repainted every year. After lunch we pretty much headed straight back to Ames, but I didn’t make a quick stop in Jefferson to take a few photos. Jefferson is one of my favorite nearby towns to photograph. Such an interesting downtown area.

All in all it was a successful road trip. I look forward to getting out on the open road again sometime in the near future.
