I know that Santa doesn’t have anything to do with the lyrics to “Silent Night”. But tonight is my FAVORITE worship service every year. Candlelight Service! Just one of the reasons I love it, is it is the service where we get to sing all the banger hymns! Silent Night is probably my favorite hymn. I know it isn’t a toe tapper like “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”, but it hits me right in the feels.
If you are looking for a candlelight service to attend tonight, do I have news for you. Some might say “good news”. You can come to my church (I don’t technically own it, but I do have “ownership”.) tonight.
There is a piano concert at 5:30. Worship service follows at 6. If you don’t know where Boone First United Methodist Church, I wonder if we are even friends.
