Last time we left off on Day 3 of my work trip to New Orleans, we were wandering around Audubon Park. All of today’s pictures are from Audubon Park as well.

I admittedly do not know a great deal about birds, but that first bird is an egret, right? Its neck looks broken!
It is in fact an egret and yep, that is what their necks look like! You will see them every once in awhile in Iowa, but it is pretty rare.
