It is beyond time I share some pictures of Tall & Meaty competing in the Madrid Labor Day Festival Barbecue Contest. I probably have taken so long to share it because it was fairly uneventful. The guys didn’t place and I didn’t stick around to the end so I had to prepare the Union Street Theater for Movie Night.

Tall & Meaty came home with no prizes on this day and they had numerous conspiracy theories as to why. But they did go home, lick their chops and came out swinging and won the Pufferbilly Days Barbecue Contest. But, there won’t be a food adventure recording that because I spent that day watching over the Pufferbilly Days Photo Contest.
I assume that they will be back again next year and there is a really good chance that Baby Got Rack will be back too! We’ve circled an overnight contest at Sec Taylor Stadium in June (methinks). I probably led with such a colossal announcement. But I wanted this announcement for people who made it to the end. The true believers!
Next Sunday’s food adventure will involve tacos!
