You might have been expecting my last collection of BLACK & WHITE alternates to be published today. But I’m going to hold off on that collection for a week or so for completely superstitious reasons. Therefore today I’m going to release a collection of images from the brief trip I took to the Des Moines Arts Festival with Russell and Andree.
I usually spend more time at the Des Moines Arts Festival, but it was like a thousand degrees out that day and RMK and Dre just weren’t into it. I don’t think they were into the art. I don’t think they were into the heat. They just weren’t into it. So this collection of images is not very large and it represents all of the pictures I took.
I started at a spoken word concert.
This is a community mosaic.
We went to the film festival to soak in some AC.
One of my favorite parts is the Youth Art exhibit.

Still my favorite thing I’ve ever seen at any art festival.
This year I will have to try to spend more time there. I don’t think Andree and Russell will want to join me again though.
