This is a different sort of a food adventure. Rather than a new place that I was trying, this is the last time I had a well loved tenderloin. By the time this publishes, the proprietor of the best tenderloin in Boone will have shuttered their doors and gone the way of the dodo bird. This place was Roosters. They decided throw in their cards at the end of April.
To honor the end of an era, Friday Night Supper Club saddled up and went to have one last Roosters tenderloin.
The pictures of the solemn occasion:

While the Roosters tenderloin wasn’t in the Tenderloin Pantheon it was the best in town. Now it is added to the list of defunct tenderloins that are missed. Joining the list of tenderloins from BK’s in Ogden, The Legal Limit in Boone, and The Country House in Colo.
Next Sunday’s food adventure will probably start the Per Diem Watch from my trip to gross Orlando, Florida.
