Here you come again
Just when I’ve begun to get myself together
You waltz right in the door, just like you’ve done before
And wrap my heart ’round your little fingerHere you come again
Just when I’m about to make it work without you
You look into my eyes and lie those pretty lies
And pretty soon I’m wonderin’ how I came to doubt youAll you got to do is smile that smile
And there go all my defenses
Just leave it up to you, and in a little while
You’re messin’ up my mind and fillin’ up my sensesHere you come again
Lookin’ better than a body has a right to and shakin’ me up so
And all I really know is here you come again
And here I goAll you got to do is smile that smile
And there go all my defenses
Just leave it up to you, and in a little while
You’re messin’ up my mind and fillin’ up my sensesHere you come again
Lookin’ better than a body has a right to and shakin’ me up so
That all I really know is here you come again
And here I goHere I go
And here I go
And here I go
Here you come againAnd here I go

Here I go
And here I go
Not a song written by Dolly Parton, but she was nominated for a Grammy for her rendition. A rare song that she didn’t write herself. Which I know last week I claimed she was one of the five greatest songwriters of all time, but she was also one of the greatest performers of all-time. And she took this song written for Brenda Lee and made it into her first significant pop crossover hit!
But Thursday’s are for flowers! This is the final collection of tulip pictures from Pella I have to share.
Next Thursday’s flowertography session will take place in my yard.
