Ireland Day 2: Conclusion

This is the final collection of images from Day 2 of my trip to Ireland with Andy. Last Friday we left off with pictures of people crossing the Carrick-a-Rede Bridge. We will start right up in the same place.

This made me miss the old swinging bridge in McHose Park.

Andy has a thing for trying to catch a leprechaun.

He left some bait for them under the bridge.

It was quite the walk back to the top.

We went to Ireland so I could see cows.

The punk that worked in here told me he was rooting for Kansas State. At least he had a good sense of humor.

Where we parked was a filming location for Game of Thrones.

It was used for Renly Baratheon’s war camp.

It was the Larrybane Quarry.

The road to Belfast.

In Belfast.

The backside of the hotel we stayed at for the night.

We spend the night in Belfast. We went to a place called Burlesque for supper and to watch a Freddy Mercury impersonator. Unfortunately, by the time we got out of the show, the parking ramp where the car was parked was closed. We had to take a taxi back to the hotel and walk back to the parking ramp in the morning. But that is a story for Day 3 of the Ireland Trip.
