This is the final collection of images from the 2025 Color the Wind Festival in Clear Lake. There might have been more pictures, but my poor planning with the battery situation and those of you who know science, know that cold is the enemy of batteries. But maybe that isn’t all bad, as cold is also the enemy of electronics in general and it isn’t great to have a camera and lenses out in brutal cold temperatures for that long. Although I don’t think it was that cold. I did stand outside for a bit of time eating a churro and the worst apple cider of my life. But cold for somebody super tough like me and cold for delicate electronics are two different things.

The next Color the Wind Kite Festival is February 21, 2026. I currently plan on going. 1 person has already volunteered to go with, but there is still room in the car for more if you are interested. Just drop me a line to book your adventure.
