This is the final collection of images from my final trip to the Iowa State Fair with Teresa and Valeri. Meaning that it is the final collection of images from last year’s Iowa State Fair. Period.
Last Friday we left off in line to pick up my submissions to the Iowa State fair Photography Salon. This collection will concentrate on some of the final concerts on the free stages. One of the concerts was a classic rock cover band. The other was Rebecca St. James.
Seeing Rebecca St. James in concert for even just a few songs was pretty cool. She was one of my favorite Christian artists for several years until she kind of fell into obscurity. At the very least, her two brothers formed a band called For King & Country and have become quite a bit more famous than their sister.

Hard to believe we are only a couple of months out from the 2026 Iowa State Fair. I’m already excited for it. The one thing I haven’t done the last couple of years is stay at the Fair past sunset. My goal is to do that on at least one of my trips to the Fair this year. Not sure how many trips I will take this year, but I’m sure it will be more than one.
Next Friday I can start sharing pictures from my trip to Ireland with Andy. I’m excited to start editing them! I hope you are excited to see them!
