I haven’t shared any pictures I took for THE BOONE ART CENTER PROJECT since March 29. March 29 of 2025! That is both sad and pathetic. I don’t know which it is more of… sad or pathetic? Part of it is that my favorite place to spot these images has dried up a little bit lately. Part of it is that I need to manage the project better. Part of it is that I need to be more on the spot with the proper gear when an image presents itself.
If you have forgotten, THE BOONE ART CENTER PROJECT is me photographing “found art” in or near the confines of Boone. A project I started as Boone, a town filled with artists, actually has a pretty big lack of public art. Although as of last week, Boone is up to 4 murals! WooHoo!

Until the next time I collect 25 more local “found” art images, I’ll be feeling the Regan from THE EXORCIST image.
