  1. I don’t think I’ve ever noticed it before, and I hope it’s okay to say, but you have your mother’s eyes.

    This batch of alternates had a lot of interest for me! Britt is Jon’s old stomping grounds – he lived in either Britt or Titonka zip codes for most of his first 18 years. My great-grandmother (and therefore Grandpa I for much of his childhood) lived in Galva for most of her life, so we’d go to Ida Grove a lot. That is a fascinating town with all of those pretend castles.
