Time to start sharing pictures I took at the Iowa State Fair last year. Maybe it will even inspire me to start thinking about getting some pictures ready for the Iowa State Fair Photography Salon this year. Probably won’t. I have no doubt I will wait until the last possible second. You do you. I’ll do me. This is my highly ineffective method!
Traditionally I go to the first day of the Iowa State Fair with the Gorshes to watch some high quality Irish dancing. But this year that tradition was moved to the first Saturday of the Iowa State Fair. I still wanted to go to the first evening of the Fair at the very least so I could see which of my pictures was accepted for exhibition and more importantly, which picture was given the shaft. Teresa agreed to go down with me.
The 1st stop was the Cultural Center to see the photos and art exhibits. The 2nd stop was Pioneer Hall. Then the wandering looking for food began.
