The subject of the December image is me holding a candle during the Candlelight Service at Boone First United Methodist Church. I’m kind of a man’s man. No collar worker with blue collar hands, but not one but two dudes told me I need a manicure. I’ve never had a manicure in my life. That’s not what us blue collar folks do. We don’t get manicures. I don’t even know where I would get a manicure. So if I take this picture next year, I’ll probably need to bring a hand model. I might even be willing to pay for their manicure. What is that, like 10 bucks? I have that in my couch cushions. The reason why this picture represents December is pretty self-evident. Cause December is National Candle Month! I mean it could be. You don’t know that it isn’t! Okay, it is for Christmas.
That’s it. No more calendar images to share.
Last time we checked in with the images I took on a trip around Des Moines with Teresa, we had just be wandering around the Capital Pride Festival. We will start there for a few images and then change over to the Greek Orthodox Church where we went to eat at the Greek Food Fair. I did leave with a ton of questions about some of the crazy artwork in the Greek Orthodox Church though.
Here is the last collection of images:
It was a great trip and I would love to go back to the Greek Food Fair again this year!
