This week’s theme…

WEEK 35 - GLASS
GLASS!

Those of you with a little bit of elephant in you may be a little like: “Didn’t we just do GLASS?” However, those of you that are more learned will know that more than just windows are made of GLASS. Things like glasses are made of GLASS. The kind you drink out of and the kind you put on your face. (At least they used to be.) Bottles. Also made of glass. (At least they used to be.) Lenses. Made of glass. (At least they used to be.) Lots of wonderful art is made out of GLASS. So go out and explore the wonderful world of GLASS.

HOUSEKEEPING

Nothing new to report. I’ll try to do better next week.

  1. Let me ask you something. If the rule you followed brought you to this, (not knowing about Judge Wapner Root Beer), of what use was the rule?

For the record, it is best served cold, like justice.

  2. I am now wondering if there is a whole line of Judge Wapner-related items to which my sorry existence has not exposed me. Is my life empty, as hollow as an empty bottle of Wapner root beer?

  3. Judge Wapner Root Beer is the only Judge Wapner related product and beverage I know about. I’m sure there probably other products out there, but not beverages.

I purchased that at one of my favorite stores in the world. Located smack, dab in the middle of the heart of darkness… Lawrence, Kansas.

In there campustown area there is a store called Mass Street Soda that sells only pop in glass bottles. Ranging from some name brands, but mostly specializing in microbrews (even though you don’t actually brew pop, but some root beers).

If you ever end up in Lawrence (or even KC) it is definitely worth the stop. They will also turn any pop they sell into a float. Done that a few times as well.

  4. I never anticipated having a reason to go to Lawrence, but here it is! That sounds amazing.
