Last time we looked at photos from Jesse and I’s trip to Winterset to check out the RAGBRAI festivities, Standing Hampton was rocking the stage.
This collection finishes up the Standing Hampton images and starts the images of the headlining band.
It was a great night and there is still one last collection of images to share from this night!

I’m dying laughing at you taking a photo of those King’s Throne kaibos – because I took a photo of them at Nightfall on the River a few years back when watching Lake Street Dive.
I’m a sucker for a clever port-a-potty name. Perhaps too much of a sucker. That and outhouse pictures. But you know that as well.
I am actually thinking about entering a picture from the Indianola Balloon Festival in that category. I think I have one State Fair picture actually picked out already, but now I can’t remember what one I was so set on. Hopefully I remember at some point.
I do think there’s just something fun about port-a-potties and outhouses. I don’t know if it’s because going to the bathroom outdoors but it still being private is innately funny, or if it’s just an intrinsic poop joke, or what, but I love them.
That would be amazing – and you have some great ones! I hope you find it! I’ve started marking photos with a star rating in Lightroom so that I can filter on them later, if I think they have any possibility. For example I did a photo shoot this past weekend of some friends’ daughter in a cape in the snow, and I specifically did it for potential State Fair photos – I have been using the 1-5 stars based off of my personal rating, then will filter down later on and weed out.
