After the Sony A7IV died I had to quickly replace it with the Sony A7RV. I took it to photograph a couple of before the game events for the Texas Tech game. I took some pictures of the Spirit Walk and the Step Concert.

Thanks! I still think I’m going to do a Hot Air Balloon picture for the Fairs/Festivals. Although that could also easily be used for their Transportation category. I’ve often thought of using one for the Sports category. I have a picture of Nick Bassett watching a game for Sports. But he passed away before I could ask him. And at this point it would feel pretty weird.
And I should say, not these, but maybe one from the Step Concert.
And 1 other things. 1 of the band majors is the sister of the people we sit next to at the games.
An ISU-related one would definitely work for Sports! And for sure Hot Air Balloons could be transportation. I feel like the people at the registration desk are also really good at telling you when something isn’t going to fly in a category – once or twice they’ve told me to move something from Color – People to sports or family farm.
Oh man, Nick was/is so beloved, though – I wonder if his family would find it an honor/tribute? It may be worth asking them? But if it feels weird, it’s definitely easiest to skip.
