I headed east on US-20 to Webster City. I was looking for some ice cream and my Google searches found that there was a Mexican ice cream place called Chicago Style located in Webster City. I wasn’t expecting to find many photo ops in Webster City as it is a town that I have visited often, but I was mistaken.
Here is the final collection of images from this little road trip:

This sweet horse sculpture is across the street from ice cream.

And these murals on top of the building to the south.

On my way out of town I had to stop at West Twin Park to check out maybe my favorite public art collection ever!

It was really hard to pick my favorite!

The bunny was probably the frontrunner until…

Until I cast my eyes on this bad boy!

Possibly my favorite piece of art I saw in all of 2025!

This would look fantastic in my yard!

My last stop was Wilson Brewer Historic Park and Village before heading back up IA-17 and back to Boone.

I don’t think I knew that white people had burial mounds. At least this is the only one I can recall seeing.

And that is it. That concludes the pictures I took on that short little road trip last June!
