Time for more from my super boring food “adventure” to lame Orlando, Florida. This is the final collections of images from this trip.
$233.12
Here are the pictures:

For the 4th time on this trip I ate at the sports bar in the basement of the Hilton Orlando.

I got the fish and chips this time.

It was really only kind of fair.

The coleslaw was worse than fair.

I got a shake to wash it down.

We did get to watch the Kentucky Derby on the big screen.

For a shake, it was kind of mid.

Day 6 was fairly slow. I searched out a catwalk to take a picture of the Computer Mine booth.

She wanted me to take this picture and send it to Jesse.

Got outside of the convention center briefly.

I never saw an alligator or a snake. Which was garbage!

On the last night in Orlando we ate at the fancy Mexican restaurant in the hotel.

Birria tacos!

This was maybe the best meal I had in Orlando.

Kim is retiring next year. So this was her final Big Meeting and final Big Meeting tear down supper. Possibly my last Big Meeting too. We will have to see what the future holds.

Found this view of the adult pool off my floor in the hotel on the last night. When I was looking for what Tony described as “The Murder Hallway”.

Hotel carpet really is the worst!

I will explain this picture at a future date.

I rarely eat breakfast on travel days.

But I joined Tony and Lowell for one bland breakfast at an Outback Steakhouse in the Orlando airport.

Snacks on the flight from Orlando to Atlanta.

These cookies are maybe the best part of flying Delta.

Kim found her Diet Pepsi in the Atlanta airport. Atlanta is becoming a Pepsi town.

Snacks on the flight from Atlanta to Des Moines.

I got double snacks cause I think the flight attendant was sweet on me.

Finally home, Bokeh was glad to see me!
So did my per diem make it all the way through the trip?
- THE DAMAGE
- With tip, the fish and chips with shake was $50.00.
- With tip, the birria tacos was $39.00.
- With tip, the breakfast burrito was $18.00.
- All airplane snacks were free.
After 7 days, this is what remained in the Per Diem Account:
$126.12
That total is actually higher than I thought it would be. It felt like I was burning through the money in the super expensive city of Orlando. But luckily I only ate about 1 meal a day, so I managed to have enough money left over to almost pay for the gas to the airport.*
Next Saturday’s food adventure will involve a food truck at Boone’s Pride event.
*I do actually get a mileage check for driving to and from the airport. Don’t think poorly of the dear old Computer Mine!
