I took this image of the High Trestle Trail Bridge. one early August morning in 2020. It was taken shortly after sunrise with my trusty drone Rodan139. It was a foggy morning on the Des Moines River Valley and it was a very peaceful walk from the parking lot to the High Trestle Trail Bridge. I wanted to convey the sereneness of the scene that comes on one of the rare occasions when you can this bridge to yourself.

The High Trestle Trail Bridge is 13 stories high (40 meters) and nearly half a mile long (770 meters). The orginal bridge was built in the 1970s to carry rail traffic for the Milwaukee Road. It was converted to a bike trail bridge and opened in 2011.
