I took this pictures of the fallen Wagon Wheel Bridge in March of 2016 shortly after it collapsed after sustaining damage from an ice jam that winter. The bridge was demolished in June of that year.

The bridge was built by the Iowa Bridge Company and was finished in 1910 for a cost of $77,900. It was 703 feet in length. The roadway was 16 feet wide. It consisted of4 main spans and 8 approach spans. It carried 200th Street over the Des Moines River.
