Photo of the Day 0106
The cleaned up, organized, and downsized guest bedroom. You may wonder why I didn’t at least tidy up the bed for the “after” pictures. The answer is simple: Christopher D. Bennett doesn’t play, lie, or make beds.

It had been awhile since I took the Photoshop up to 11. Out of my system now. Want to see what this picture looked like before all the Photoshoperation? Good luck with that.
DaeHee’s light painting of a dog. (Photo assistant: Bethany Yoon) This is an in camera effect that I haven’t used for awhile. But I may have to crack out more often with any of my friends that think they can draw.
DaeHee and I at the Uptown Art Fair. (Photo by Bethany Yoon) Clearly DaeHee is better at the putting his melon through the cutout thing than I am.
Phlox One of my favorite small flowers.
Once a year the Mission Committee from my church organizes the 4-H Kids to bring animals to Boone’s nursing homes. The last 2 years, my Mom has been in charge of this endeavor.
One of my coneflowers. A very healthy batch this year. Well, we did it. We made it to 100 Photos of the Day. I figured there was no better way to cap off the first 100 with what Micky would call “flower porn”. Somewhere Russell is shaking his head.
Kalista from her Senior Pictures Photo Shoot Although there are many more that I loved, this is the last image I will share from this photo shoot. Please, no hate mail.
Electric Bethany (Photo Assistant: DaeHee) This photo shoot and a few more to come was spurred by a trip to the Uptown Art Fair and an explanation of how a photographer did their photos.
Kalista on the backside of McHose on a fallen tree. I believe I’ll post 1 more from this photo shoot. For the record.
My only stargazer this year. My lily patch had a rough go of it this year. Naima trampled a couple lilies to death. I didn’t get on the weeding train early enough. Also, my sunflowers have made the sun a distant memory to my lilies. I’ll try to do better… Read More »Photo of the Day 0096
Kalista next to my awesome white fence. My backyard used to be described as cute. I wonder if it still fits the bill after years of Naima usage.
Bethany and DaeHee showing of their urban garden. I was really impressed with how well you can grow a garden out of hay bales. I’m almost tempted to try this along my back fence next year.
Kalista and my lilies. 1 maybe 2 more of these.
Scott being hoisted by the bridesmaids at Debra and Brandon’s wedding. Although there are many more images I love from this day, I’m going to cut myself off here.
Kalista on the railroad tracks. Not your standard senior picture, which is probably why I like it so much.
Dawn giving Debra a motherly kiss. Maybe just 1 more from this wedding.
Another favorite from Kalista’s Summer Senior Pictures Too bad we couldn’t take some spray paint to that wall.
A little cowboy hanging out at Debra and Brandon’s wedding. I think I’ll share just 1 more image from this wedding.
A favorite from Kalista’s first Senior Pictures Photo Shoot. I like to think this brick wall was put here because it makes such a background for portraits.
Debra, Brandon, and helpers filling the sand jars at their wedding. And they were very good helpers!
