Who doesn’t love daisies? I definitely love daisies. I have a patch in the backyard and a couple daisies in the front by my lamp post.

A volunteer lily in the back corner of my yard. Usually I’m not a fan of orange lilies I’ve made an exception for this lily.
Sarah and Shawn’s Tiramisu Cheesecake created for the 1st Annual Methodist Men Pie/Cheesecake Auction When Eldon brought the idea of a pie auction up to me as a possible fundraiser to help pay for our broken down organ I was a little bit leery. As President of the Methodist Men,… Read More »Photo of the Day 0051
A lily after a storm. This yellow lily can be found in my Mom’s front yard. If you know where that is, you should drop by and check out her many beautiful flowers. If you don’t, that is your misfortune.
Becca in the wind. It was a sunny and windy day, you know, a perfect day for a wedding.
The first sunflower of the year! My sunflowers have actually gotten out of control. I probably need to cut them back before they take over the entire yard.
Bear feeling Becca Jr. Becca Jr. is actually a boy and won’t be named Becca Jr.
My first lily of the year! I believe that I also originally got this lily at a United Methodist Women rummage sale. Like all my day lilies, it is dominating. We don’t need to talk about my Asiatic lilies.
Shorty, Becca, and James before the wedding. Shorty was James’ Best Man. A wise choice.
Yellow rose after storm. I got these roses for free from a Methodist Women rummage sale a few years back. A good addition to my driveway.
Revisiting the toad. I haven’t actually seen the toad since this day. I’m afraid Naima may have scared him off when she flipped him over.
Experimenting with a frozen flower theme. I need to revisit this idea when something other than a white flower is blooming in my yard.
Lumiloons from Relay for Life It was another great, powerful, moving Relay for Life.
I’m very happy with the progress of my daisy patch this year. Unfortunately my hollyhocks have taken a step back this year, but I have hopes they will rebound in the coming months though.
Naima and a stick. Been getting hammered lately. Not literally. Not alcoholically. But hopefully I get caught up again some time soon.
Windmill north of Boone. Not the definitive picture of this subject. Kind of a test run. Assist on this photo by Jesse.
Toad Found this guy while I was weeding the lily patch. Naima enjoyed pawing at this guy until I made her leave.
Mom and Annie after walking the Survivor’s Lap with Miss Iowa. Although it wasn’t a traditional Friday Night Supper Club, it was still a pretty excellent Friday Night Supper Club.
One of my grandma’s flowers. NORMAN I might have gone a little mad with the Photoshop on this picture. We all go a little mad sometimes. Haven’t you? MARION Yes. Sometimes just one time can be enough. Exchange from my forthcoming screenplay.
