I need to begin today by wishing Elainie a happy birthday. Happy birthday Elainie!
I hope your birthday is as amazing as you want it to be.
Back in late October, we got a bit of unexpected snow. I took a few flower pictures afterwards.
Fortunately, fall weather wasn’t done with us yet. But that snow pretty much did in all of my flowers.
I need to start today by wishing Alexis a happy birthday. Happy birthday Alexis!
I hope your birthday is as amazing as you wanted it to be!
I thought I would give you a break from flowers for a day and shows some pictures of some baby robins from my front yard. A pair of robins built a nest in my bush in my front yard for the second time this year. Here are some pictures:
I recently added a birdhouse and a second bird feeder to my property. Well it is really a first bird feeder, because I keep the first bird feeder for the wasp nest that I nurture.
Actually the second bird feeder was a gift from my Mom and the birdhouse was a gift from Kio. The second bird feeder has proved to be popular thus far.
This is your reminder that this week’s THE WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE theme is NIGHT.
A NIGHT picture is simply any picture taken at NIGHT.
Happy photo harvesting!
I need to start by wishing my mother-in-law Colleen a happy birthday. Happy birthday Colleen!
I hope your birthday was amazing! All the best people were born in May!
Can you imagine being born in a different month?
This is the final collection of images that were triggered by Elainie coming home back in September. Most of these pictures were taken on the High Trestle Trail Bridge.
This is the last collection of pictures from Elainie’s homecoming and believe it or not, this is nearly the end of the 2019 backlog.
It will be a relief to not be in backlog, seems like I’ve been in it forever!
I only have one image to share today. It might not seem like much of an image at first glance. It is just a wet gazania. But this is a focus stacked image. It took 63 pictures just to combine all of them into this one image.
I repeat, it isn’t that I took 63 images and this is the one I like the best, I took 63 images and combined them into one image.
I’m sure I’ll be doing more focus stacking in the future. The photo rail makes it way easier to focus stack. In addition to making it way easier to do super macro.
Now I have yet to do a super-macro photo stacked image, but that is coming. Very soon.
Thought I would reveal the latest collection of images that have been added to the CANVAS WALL PROJECT.
There is one more order of canvases that are their way to my front stoop. Once those are up, the CANVAS WALL PROJECT will be finished!
At that time, I’ll publish a picture of it.
I should start by saying Happy birthday to Kalista. So, happy birthday Kalista!
I hope it is a very happy birthday indeed!
It is time for the 9th and nearly last installment of pictures that were triggered by Elainie’s homecoming!
I do believe that when you are from Iowa and you marry somebody from California, you are legally obligated to have your picture taken in front of corn.
One final collection of Elainie Homecoming pictures left to go!
This collection of images that were triggered by Elainie’s homecoming back in September is a bit smaller. This is the balance of the pictures that were taken at Ledges. However, it isn’t the end of the pictures. Not quite yet!
More Stenslands to come!
It is time for another stirring collection of images that were triggered by Elainie coming home last September. All of these images are of Elainie and Sabas and were taken in Ledges.
Still lots of Stensland pictures to come!
This is normally the time when I reflect on how my work from home week went this week. But I don’t really have anything to share this week. The main bonus I got from working from home this week is that I had a couple customers I had to work with outside of normal work hours. I didn’t have to hang around the office and wait to work with them. I just took a nap and did some yardwork, then I came back in and dealt with them.
I will get into details of the Master Playlist next Friday. I’m sure.
Time once again to check in with pictures that were triggered by Elainie coming home last September. It is possible that I might be almost done with the 2019 backlog next week. More realistically, it will be the week after.
Here are some more pictures to enjoy:
Yep, there is even more Stenslands in the hopper. So many Stenslands.
Here in the 5th set of pictures triggered into existence by Elainie’s homecoming last September, Elainie makes a reappearance.
But there are also quite a few pictures of Alexis, Kupono, and Kanoa.
Of course, plenty of Sabas in this collection as well!
You’d think that we were halfway through all the Stensland photos, but we’re just warmed up now. So much more Stensland in our future!
I need to start this post by announcing that the Sharp family is making laundry detergent like crazy and donating it to area food banks like IMPACT and the Toreador Pantry.
However, they need more laundry detergent jugs, so they have set up a garbage can at the end of their driveway where people can donate jugs for them to fill. No jug is too small or too big.
You can find the donation dropoff spot at the end of their driveway.
The live at 1005 South Division Street in Boone. Basically keep going south on Division Street until you can’t go any farther. There will be some photos of their work shared at a later point.
Thanks to anybody that donates!
Happy birthday to Kelly! She doesn’t subscribe to this blog, so she will never see this, but happy birthday anyways:
I hope it is a great birthday!
Time for another collection of Stensland pictures I took when Elainie came home last fall:
A reminder that I love the candid pictures that I take between the posed pictures so much more than I do the posed pictures. But that is maybe just me.
So much more coming from Elainie’s homecoming.
