Flowers

I Know One

Here is another collection of flower pictures I took in my Mom’s yard. These pictures were taken on April 14. There are tulips, daffodils, and a peony in this collection. So many more flower picture photos to share!

WPC – WEEK 301 – WHITE

It appears that WHITE was not a super popular theme. But you didn’t come here to listen to me talk all tommyrot about participation rates. You came to see the submissions: Shannon Bardole-Foley Christopher D. Bennett Micky Augustin Angie DeWaard Kim Barker Angie DeWaard Kio Dettman Kio Dettman Cathie Raley… Read More »WPC – WEEK 301 – WHITE

Just Between You and Me

Today I’m sharing a collection of flower pictures I took in my Mom’s yard on April 8. Tulips, daffodils, and Mother’s Day Peony are included in this collection. I have so many flower pictures to share. And so many more to take.

Years in the Making

I’ve always been a fan of peonies. They have very bold and striking colors, but the real reason why I love them is that the way peonies bloom is that ants eat the outside leaves. Releasing the flower contained inside. About 4 years ago, but maybe 5 and possibly 3,… Read More »Years in the Making

Macrocicle

This post is a collection of some macro (mostly) pictures I took across February. Most are of an icicle, but a couple are of a lilac bud from my lilac bush. I might get into the history of those lilacs at some point, but not today. And of course, a… Read More »Macrocicle

2010-08-23

The folder 2010-08-23 is absolutely stuffed to the gills. There are so many images in there I almost considered breaking it up into a couple posts, but decided against it. There are pictures in there from a trip to the Iowa State Fair and pictures of Jen and Derrick when… Read More »2010-08-23

2010-08-11

The pictures in the folder are from when the Creek formerly known as Squaw flooded Duff Avenue in the August of 2010. I’m not being sarcastic, I just know that they recently changed the name of Squaw Creek, I just have no clue what they changed it to. Ioway maybe?… Read More »2010-08-11

2010-07-19

Most of the pictures in the folder 2010-07-19 are of the remains of a pair of downtown Boone buildings that caught fire. Then there are some flower pictures as well. Have a look: By adding these pictures to the Photography 139 Gallery, I was able to restore the following historic… Read More »2010-07-19

2010-07-15 & 2010-07-18

There are a couple of different types of pictures in the folders 2010-07-15 and 2010-07-18. Some are flower pictures and others are my attempts to take pictures of lightning. Have a look: By adding these pictures to the Photography 139 Gallery, I was able to restore the following historic “An… Read More »2010-07-15 & 2010-07-18

2010-07-07 & 2010-07-12

There aren’t all that many pictures in the folders 2010-07-07 and 2010-07-12, so I decided to combine them and share them together. These are mostly flowers in these folders, but also a couple of fly pictures. By adding these pictures to the Photography 139 Gallery, I was able to restore… Read More »2010-07-07 & 2010-07-12

A Pandemic Menagerie

This is a clearinghouse post. Grouping together some small collections of photos that might not be large enough to stand on their own. Plus getting multiple folders “finished off” and filed away to their forever homes. These pictures aren’t pandemic related, but they did occur in a pandemic. Like every… Read More »A Pandemic Menagerie

2010-06-28

There is a very diverse collection of photos in the folder 2010-06-28. Most are from Shannon’s first attempt to skydive. That idea got shot down (not literally) because it was deemed to windy to do such a thing safely. There are also pictures of a reunion when Bill came to… Read More »2010-06-28

Lipton Cup of Zinnia

Thought it was beyond time I shared a collection of flower pictures I took back in early October. That is near the end of flower picture season or Flowertography Season as we call it around Photography 139 Worldwide Headquarters. Usually you can get a couple of flowers to make it… Read More »Lipton Cup of Zinnia
