#BlueWave2018

I decided to make a few abstract images to commemorate the Blue Wave in the 2018 Midterm Elections. I was quite the historical night and a very successful night for the Democrats. Consider: Despite facing tremendous gerrymandering in many states, Democrats gained between 37-39 House seats. The most since the… Read More »#BlueWave2018

Wet Macros

Back at the end of June, I went out into some sloppy rain and grabbed some macro flower photos. Some of hollyhocks. Some of lilies. Now that we are mostly trading in 2018 images, get ready for a flower deluge. Or not. Who knows what way the wind will blow.

On Labor Day a (what I believe to be) hummingbird moth took up residence on my back patio. I took a few pictures of the cute, little guy. Thought I would share some: If this is not a hummingbird moth, let me know in the comments section of this here… Read More »Mothra!

Looking through the pictures, I had forgotten that Dawn’s daughter Debra also played on that team. It might be where we rekindled our friendship. Or maybe our friendship began. I’m… Read More »07-20-08/State Tournament

07-02-08

There isn’t much to the folder called 07-02-08. A few pictures from a small road trip that I took with Becky. Then some flower pictures. No reason to dilly dally. Let’s get to it: I remember being so disappointed when I saw the design of the new “High Bridge”. 10… Read More »07-02-08
