I’m a Mean Photog, Better Feed Me Fauxtogs or Feed Me Picts, Ah, Feed Me Both of ‘Em

As you may have guessed, I have a ton of alternative BLACK & WHITE images for the WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE. The world wasn’t ready for them on Monday. I’m not sure the world can handle them now, but I can’t hold them back any longer: Some of these pictures were… Read More »I’m a Mean Photog, Better Feed Me Fauxtogs or Feed Me Picts, Ah, Feed Me Both of ‘Em

High Biscuits

Hitting up the old backlog. Here are some pictures I took back in September: I believe these beauties reside in my front yard. Also, if you haven’t noticed, I’m experimenting with a different publishing time for the posts. I’m still thinking it over.

03-22-08

A small collection of photos reside in the folder called 03-22-08: By adding these images to the Photography 139 Photo Gallery, I was able to restore the following blogs to their original glory: GOING BROKE SORTING MAIL 1 picture is of a Jaycees newsletter. More Backyard Toad

Going through the backlog and think this is the balance of the photos of the toad that called my backyard home back in May of 2017: I miss that toad. I sure hope they come back this year and bring lots of friends! Toad friends!

Them Photogs, They Coming Up on Me; I Cut Off the Ladder, And I Told ‘Em,”Bye-Bye”

More alternatives for COLORFUL that the world couldn’t handle on Monday. I’m hoping it can handle them now: Most of these photos were taken at Boone First United Methodist Church. A few were taken in the campustown area of Ames. The pictures of Naima were taken in the Photography 139… Read More »Them Photogs, They Coming Up on Me; I Cut Off the Ladder, And I Told ‘Em,”Bye-Bye”

This Ladder of Photography I Climbed; I Took the Machete; The Game Isn’t Ready

The world wasn’t ready for these COLORFUL pictures on Monday. I’m not sure the world can handle them now, but I can’t hold them back any longer: All of these photos were taken at Boone First United Methodist Church. Many of them with an in-camera special effect. More of these… Read More »This Ladder of Photography I Climbed; I Took the Machete; The Game Isn’t Ready

Zinnia Sale

A bit from the old backlog. These pictures were taken on July 20. The zinnias were photographed in my very own Photography 139 Flower Garden. The garage sale pictures were from my Grandma’s somewhat controversial garage sale. I think that is the spin doctor way to describe the garage sale.… Read More »Zinnia Sale

Daisy, Daisy

Dipping into the backlog again. These pictures were taken on June 4. The majority of these pictures were taken at McHose Park. The other two were taken in my Grandma’s backyard.

Cinco de Mayo

Hopping back into the backlog I found some pictures I took back on May 5. Some pictures of a beautiful toad that lived in my woodpile for a few weeks and some pictures of gross lilacs. I was, of course, being facetious when I called lilacs ugly. Those lilacs can… Read More »Cinco de Mayo

Christmas Eve – 2016

Sit tight. This is a long one! Working on the old backlog. These pictures were taken on Christmas Eve last year: Some of these pictures were taken at Ledges State Park. Some on the High Trestle Trail. Some of them at my chuch (Boone First United Methodist Church represent!).
