Looks like Sundays are going to be formal portrait time for a little bit. I haven’t shared really any formal portraits I took last year, so I better start doing that now. This collection is from pictures I took of Alexis’ family back in June. Carla was the baby wrangler or at least she tried to get them to look in the direction of the camera.

The pictures in this collection are in a folder called New York City. These pictures are from a trip I took with Jesse to visit my cousin Sarah and her beau Tim. They live in Manhattan. We made this trip in 2011 and I thought that I’d probably go out and visit every couple of years. I haven’t been back since, and that is really pathetic.
There are also pictures in this collection I took with a pinhole camera.

BUSINESS! What a great theme for Year 8 of THE WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE!
But what is a BUSINESS image? A BUSINESS image is any image that shows any aspect of a BUSINESS. From a storefront. To the employees working at the BUSINESS. To a BUSINESS card. Literally any aspect of a BUSINESS. And it can be any type of BUSINESS. From a mulit-million dollar corporation to somebody selling Pampered Chef out of the trunk of their car.
While thinking on your BUSINESS picture, think on the following quote:

The images in the folder 2011-02-09 are actually taken on film. They are double exposures. I love double exposures. Yes, you can certainly fake double exposures with Photoshop and some digital cameras will do them. In fact, I need to get back into that. In fact, I need to run some film through a camera. I honestly haven’t done this is several years now. It makes me sad to think about.
