Slice of Life Vol. 58

I think that at least a couple of these pictures were taken by Carla as you can see her reflection in the bank window.

Also, if anybody was curious what my patio chairs looked like when they were in good shape (or before the shabby chic look), you will find them in 1 of these pictures as well.

  1. The people that moved into our old house, surely have trashed it! So sad! It looks so nice and clean in those pictures. I had forgotten about Audry McVay. He was such a nice guy. Love seeing the reflections of our old truck with the camper on top in the bank glass doors.

  2. I was trying to remember that guy’s name.

I can’t even drive by our old house with out getting immediately pissed off. I just have to remind myself that some day that house will be the site of the Christopher D. Bennett Museum and at that time it will be restored to its former glory.

  3. The boys often ask why I didn’t buy it when mom sold it. They’d love to have lived there, but I just couldn’t afford the utilities for that house!

  4. It needed a lot of work at that point as well. I also love the picture of Harold and (her name escapes me). They look like a really happy couple.
