Sarah and Shawn’s Tiramisu Cheesecake created for the 1st Annual Methodist Men Pie/Cheesecake Auction
When Eldon brought the idea of a pie auction up to me as a possible fundraiser to help pay for our broken down organ I was a little bit leery. As President of the Methodist Men, I badly want our group to branch out and try new activities, but I didn’t think this would be a huge success. Eldon set our goal at raising $1000. I thought a more realistic goal would be to to drop a couple zeroes off of his goal.
Turns out, we both were pessimistic. The Methodist Men First Annual Pie Auction raised $1750 to help replace our broken down old organ. Of course that mean there will be a 2nd Annual Pie Auction next year. That time, for a yet to be determined but possibly youth oriented cause.
