A few months back I went to the Freedom Flight Sendoff and snapped a few pictures. Here are a few of them:
I went to the Freedom Flight Sendoff to see Jesse’s Dad, but I was surprised when Derrick’s Dad got up and gave an impromptu speech about the sacrifice of the significant others of veterans.
If you don’t know, the Freedom Flight is a flight that takes veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials that stand in their honor.
I hope you sent these photos to the organizers!
Considering that last night was the first time I even looked at the images… I’m afraid not.
I’m not joking when I say my backlog is huge. HUGE!!
I’m trying to get right on newer photos as best I can. Which isn’t THAT hard because I haven’t been super active recently.
I get it. I have to edit right away, or at most within a few days, or else I just don’t get it done.
I’ve been really bad about getting my camera out lately. I had so many shoots over the fall that it’s been hard to get motivated – and then with being sick and funeral stuff and the cold, I just keep finding excuses not to do anything.
That is why it is called a Photo “Challenge”.
I have a thing where if somebody is paying me to do it, I get really de-motivated.
That is my business model. It is what is going on my next set of business cards. “Pay me to do something so I won’t want to do it.”
