A small collection of loser for this week’s theme.
Scottie D.’s reflection, I believe. Well. I’m in there too.
I hope you can see the reflection…
Thanks for helping me to take the time to mock these pathetic losers.
I was recently tapped to do a photo shoot of the Junck family and their newest old timey firetruck.
This photo of Gretchen is one of my favorites from the day:
I’ll probably share a few more from this photo shoot at some point.

A look at the remainder of the default filters in the Silver Efex Pro 2 filter from the Nik Plugin Collection.
That should close out our look at the Nik Plugin Collection.
But I cannot complete this post with out wishing a hap, happiest birthday to long time Photography 139 supporter, Russell!
I thought now would be a good time to take another look at a filter from the Nik Plugin Collection. This time, we will look at the default filters in the Silver Efex Pro 2 collection. There are 38 of them, so I’ll split this into 2 posts.
The Silver Efex Pro 2 filter is a quick, easy, and powerful way to convert any image into black & white with a myriad of options.
Here is the first batch.
Fine Art
It is the same subject, with the same composition, but each filter suggest a slightly different emotion. Will look at the rest of the filters soon.
For the third year in a row I joined the Junks on the back of their old-timey vehicle for the Ogden Fun Days Parade. This time, it was the recently restored and first firetruck to ever grace the streets of Boone County.
Some photos.
Once again, there was a wardrobe malfunction and I was a one-armed fire fighter. However, I believe this will be corrected before I ride again for the Pufferbilly Days Parade.
Another automobile I found fascinating in the car graveyard that is Strong City, Kansas.
I have maybe a couple more pictures left to share from beautiful (cough, cough) to me Strong City, Kansas.
Added a new category in PARTICULARS since I love minutia.

QUESTION 13
I was born with limited musical skills. What instrument did I play poorly in the Boone High School Band?
ANSWER: TROMBONE
BONUS
Who was my high school locker partner?
ANSWER: Lowell Davis
“You look like you could be from Kansas.”
After seeing the remains of this truck and its license plate, I legitimately think that might be a legit pickup line.
Now that I’m through the party, I’ll try to get caught back up with my postings.

I might have processed this image to within an inch of its life. However, it turned out pretty much exactly as I wanted it so. Everybody wins!
It feels like I should show you what the original image looked like. But I’m not going to.
