Slice of Life Vol. 54
These negatives seem to be highly damaged, but I still think there is some interesting stuff in here.

My Memorial Day was 1 of the more interesting days I’ve ever experienced. It was filled with violent ups and downs, but perhaps the highest peak was photographing Evie. Here are some of the pictures from that photo shoot. You can view a ton more Evie photos in the STORE… Read More »Evie
These pictures come from: Backup/Old My Pictures/Labels I once had an idea where I had my friends do a little exercise in self-realization. I asked them to pick a word. One word that they wanted the world to think of when the world saw them. Then I had them write… Read More »The Archives: Edition Twenty-One
There wasn’t a sudden burst of more submissions this week, but I am pleased with the quality of submissions. For the first time in roughly 8 weeks, I even like my submission. The final 30 or so weeks of RWPE Y2 has some signs of hope. Here are the submissions… Read More »RWPE Y2 #23 – DEPTH OF FIELD
This is a tradition that I have gotten away from for awhile, but I do wish to start it up again. This photo tribute is my way of saying Happy birthday to Shannon. I believe Jen Gorshe is up next for the birthday photo tribute.
Coexistence I took these pictures of turkeys at Micky’s dad’s place after our turkey “hunt”. If you are interested in Micky’s world, I would urge you to visit his new re-designed website: AM Outdoors Next week’s Personal Photo Project deals with that most tricky of birds, the peacock.
I think some of these pictures might have processed funny, but oh well, they still look cool.
Elainie graduated a couple weeks back. Here are a couple of pictures from the day. I didn’t take a camera to the Open House for some reason. I clearly now regret that. Next Wednesday’s randomness will feature pictures of Evie.
These pictures come from the following folder: Backup/Old My Pictures/Jones Soda These pictures might come as kind of shocking. So I better give a small bit of back story. If there was ever a chance for me to be a cult leader it was when I was the closing assistant… Read More »The Archives: Edition Twenty
Looks like the Random Weekly Photo Experiment has run its course as submissions are starting to become few and far between. Looks like I need to start thinking about what it is I’m going to post on Mondays next year. Here are the submissions for SHADOWS: Mike Vest Christopher D.… Read More »RWPE Y2 #22 – SHADOWS
Last week I removed and disassembled the Friend Wall. It is no longer in existence. No longer do I have friends on my wall. I replaced the Friend Wall with the 9 Emotions Project Wall. The centerpiece of this new “exhibit” is a 24×36 print of the picture below. A… Read More »Personal Photo Project of the Week #70
I think some of these pictures were taken inside Wilson’s. I am mostly curious who the guy is in one of the pictures. He doesn’t ring any bells for me.
A couple weeks back I went to watch Logan run track. Here are some pictures of that: Next week’s random pictures will be of Elainie’s graduation.
This picture comes from the following folder: Backup/Old My Pictures/JCJanson Light Train This is a photo technique that Jay and I should really revisit in the future. I don’t know if we have done this since Portrait of an Artist as a Middle-Aged Man. Next week’s folder will be: Backup/Old… Read More »The Archives: Edition Nineteen

The rest of the tulip pictures from my trip to Pella with my Mom. Next week’s Personal Photo Project involves the final piece or the endgame of the 9 Emotions Project.
More pictures of tulips from my trip to Pella with my Mom. More from the Still Laughing Series tomorrow.
Still Laughing I took a calculated risk this year and went to Pella with my Mom a full week before I did last year. I knew it was a risk because of the relatively cold spring and my risk did not pay off. Very few of their tulips were blooming.… Read More »Personal Photo Project of the Week #69 Alpha
Life got away from me a little bit, so I’m tardy in posting these pictures. A collection of historical Boone artifacts in this volume.
Although I’m sure most people have seen these pictures by now, I have yet to post them here. What was tragically not captured digitally was Jon (who did an awesome job as a photo assistant) turning into a ghost at one point to act as a background. It will definitely… Read More »Alice – 9 Months
