A brief break from Africa for a moment.
Over a year ago I signed up for a Twitter account. I tweeted briefly and then decided I could not be that self-absorbed. I already have an extensive website and a blog devoted to me, why did I need to take it up a notch with micro-blogging.
I allowed my Twitter account to remain dormant. Then this year I had to set up a Twitter account for Ames on the Half Shell. As the season progressed, I found myself wanting to tweet less and less about Ames on the Half Shell and more and more about me and my life.
It turns out that I am self-absorbed enough to also want to micro-blog. Actually I think I wanted another excuse to play with my phone.
I still really haven’t put much up there, besides a picture of my neighbor and a bunch of quotes from The Breakfast Club. (Now is the time for Derrick and I to fulfill our dream of producing The Breakfast Club on stage.)
However, I am going on a road trip this weekend and I might find it necessary to tweet from the open road.
So, if you are bored with your existence and wish to be bored with my existence, head on over to my Twitter page and see what is going on in my world.

If you are on Twitter and I have not found you, let me know and I will follow your self-absorption too!
